If you've ever wondered about how big infinity really is or whether -4 has a square root then this course is for you! Perhaps you've heard of the Golden Ratio, Fermat's Last Theorem or Goldbach's Conjecture but have no idea what they are. The course is designed for people who are curious about numbers and offers an opportunity to explore some of the big mathematical ideas and conundrums in a straightforward and accessible way. It isn't linked to a qualification so there are no formal entry criteria or assessments although ideally you should be fairly confident with GCSE level mathematics.
