A Level Drama and Theatre Studies

Students will study areas including the following: basic performance skills; theatre practitioners including Stanislavski, Brecht and Max Stafford Clarke; live productions (looking at genre, theatrical style, directorial interpretation, choice of venue, performance skills, movement and language, stage setting and design, use of space, costume, lighting, sound, actor/audience relationship etc.). Students will also study the prescribed play "A Doll's House" by Ibsen
