This is a GCE A Level in Art. Fine Art – The course consists of two components. Component 1 is the Personal investigation which consists of three elements. Supporting studies, Practical work and a personal investigation which consists of a piece of continuous prose of a minimum of 1000 words. Students investigate the theme of Tied and Bound and then a personally chosen area for their second project. Component 2 is the externally set assignment which consists of two elements. Preparatory studies and a 15 sustained focus. The theme is set by the exam board.
