This apprenticeship is designed for people who want to train on the job and gain a nationally recognised qualification in Health and Social Care. You must have good interpersonal skills, respect for people who use the service, good verbal and non verbal communication skills and a suitable level of fitness to perform some aspects of the job. This is a follow on course from the Level 2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship and supports those working in a variety of roles e.g. senior healthcare support worker, senior healthcare assistant, care officer, care supervisor, senior care worker, supervising care worker, senior support worker, relief team leader, social work assistant, social services officer, community outreach/support worker, family support worker or personal assistant.
