This practical, intellectual and artistic subject is designed for students who enjoy reading and watching plays and taking part in drama, as a performer or director. Through various visits you will be shown the amazing diversity in theatre and will learn to analyse, interpret and create imaginative and compelling performances, whilst becoming a more competent theatre practitioner. Whilst this A level is rigorously academic, the teaching approach is largely practical and offers a unique approach to learning. It is an active and creative course which aims to nurture your enthusiasm for and interest in theatre, both as an audience member and as a participant.
