A Level Chemistry

This foundation course builds on the work completed in a GCSE science course to develop an understanding of the concepts of chemistry as well as gaining skills in experimental work, particularly analytical skills. You should begin to understand the importance of chemistry in our society. Chemists have greatly improved the quality of life for the majority of people. During the course you will be given an opportunity to discuss and explore dilemmas such as the recycling of metals and its effect on the environment. You also find out how chemists are real innovators, designing solutions to the problems. The course is an excellent A level for those students who enjoy Chemistry and wish to acquire more knowledge and understanding of Chemistry in the world around them.
