Students with A level Design can go on to a wide range of possible higher education courses or career opportunities. The course can lead directly to several fields of product or Graphic Design. Units studies: Unit 3 Design and Manufacture. Examined unit in which students will build on and add to the knowledge and understanding gained in Unit 2 including: materials and components; design and market influences; processes and manufacturing. Unit 4 Design and Making Practice. Individual product design and manufacturing - either Resistant Material or Graphical. Context selected by the student - could be graphic design, product deign, architectural, furniture or jewellery. You need to be creative and adventurous in your work and reflect how a professional designer might deal with a design problem and its resolution
