Paper 1: Introductory Topics in Psychology Students will study four compulsory topics of Social Influence, Memory, Attachment and Psychopathology. This paper includes the factors influencing obedience and conformity, nature and structure of memory as well as memory in everyday life, plus the relationship between caregiver-infant bond and the importance of this bond to development and finally phobias, depression and OCD. Paper 2: Psychology in Context Students will explore some core themes in Psychology here including Approaches in Psychology, Biopsychology and Research Methods. This will require students to think more independently and critically. Paper 3 Issues and Options in Psychology Students will select to study three topics from three option blocks. This will include Relationships, Aggression and either Schizophrenia or Stress.
