The course will consist of four modules which are taken from topics on eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth century history. The topics are chosen to present students with a wide range of historical issues, social and political history and international relations as well as the study of different countries. The course tackles different skills – handling evidence, writing essays, evaluating interpretations and studying themes in history.
