GCE AS Level in Art and Design

UPDATED 20151103 14:56:45

Coursework portfolio The course is wide-ranging both in terms of practical work and critical studies. We explore a variety of starting points and personalise projects to allow students interests and styles to develop. This happens both practically and by looking at the works of other artists. Students can then choose a preferred specialism from a range of media. Unit 2 Exam Once students have selected a starting point from the exam paper, they undertake eight weeks of preparation and research followed by a five hour unaided test based on their investigations. They then continue to develop the exam project which is completed by the start of May.
