Your day - to - day experiences on this innovative new course will revolve around all aspects of media production, working on live briefs for real clients, in City College Norwich's new Production Learning Company. Mentored by industry professionals, you will create the production company's image and market it. You will then research, pitch, budget and script 'live' projects which will then be scheduled, shot, edited and distributed. This end product will be created for real clients to real deadlines. Projects will be carried out alongside Norwich - based Eye Film and Television, working on a diverse range of video commissions for local businesses, charities and community groups. The course will be as close as possible to working in the real world of a production company: you will work a 35 - hour week (during term - time), deal face to face with the clients, and work with Eye Film and Television professionals to deliver your brief and meet client deadlines. Students in the Production Learning Company will be based in their own dedicated production office/studios and will have the opportunity to utilize the fully equipped TV studios and editing equipment available at the College
