This extremely popular course will give you a good introduction to the practical skills and theory you will need to pursue a career as a bricklayer. By the end of your course you will have gained up to three of the four elements needed to complete a basic Level two Apprenticeship Framework: Technical certificate, Health and Safety test and Functional Skills. The units you will study are: Carry out safe working practices in construction, Information quants and communicating with others, Building methods and construction technology, Interpret working drawings to set out masonry structures, Thin joint masonry and masonry cladding, Build solid walling, isolated and attached piers and Build cavity walling, forming masonry structures.
