Land-based Studies BTEC Level 1 Diploma

This course is designed for students who are interested in the care of small animals or a career within the land-based sector. It covers topics such as grooming animals, animal health, feeding and accommodation. It also looks at horticulture and includes the growing of plants that would attract butterflies and other insects. The course is practical in nature and will include work experience and visits to farms, zoos and garden centres.
