Students will follow Core Physics units in Year 12 and Advanced Physics units in Year 13. The course covers a broad range of Physics and includes topics such as Mechanics, Waves, Materials, Electric Circuits, Space and Nuclear and Particle Physics. There is a strong practical component and in addition to the required Core Practicals students will undertake practical work at any available opportunity where benefit can be discerned.Students will benefit from the course by building the following transferable skills: problem solving and analysis, mathematical reasoning, practical competency and working in groups.
