This course seeks to build on the skills and knowledge acquired on the HNC and includes a final mandatory unit on Project Design, Implementation and Evaluation. This unit develops highly sought-after skills giving the student the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to formulate, implement and present a specialised project which incorporates a critical self-evaluation. As with the HNC, this course and its units of study have been created and chosen not only to meet the needs of employers, but also to satisfy the Examination Board's Rules of Combination. All units at HND must total 120 credits. Where necessary students will infil into classes at level 4 and /or level 6 if the same unit is being taught.
