Students will study four components: drama; prose; poetry; and coursework. I the drama component, students will focus either on tragedy or comedy and study one Shakespeare play and one other drama in the genre. In the second component, students will study two prose texts. In the poetry component, students will study poetic form, meaning and language and in the coursework element, students will study two texts linked by theme, movement, author or period.
