As part of your course you will undertake the following: • An accredited qualification in employability skills • To support you with developing the skills needed to attend interviews, prepare CV’s, time management • Skills to help you study when you move onto an Apprenticeship or Further Study • English and maths, where students have not yet achieved a GCSE grade A*- C in these subjects by age 16; Where English & Maths has been achieved you will be given activities to maintain your competency at this level. Otherwise the level of qualification you will work towards achieving will be determined by initial assessment of your current level of Maths and English. • non-qualification activity, such as tutorials and work-related learning, relevant to the programme goals. At the end of the course the aim will be to give you the experience and skills required to help you achieve the next step for example Employment including Apprenticeships & Traineeships, Further Education, living independently etc. whichever is the best route for you as an individual. Travel to our training centre is reimbursed weekly. Your learning will take place in small training groups
