A 3 year full-time residential course individualised for learners with LD to develop skills for independence and work through partnership and mutual support, working towards their aspirations as captured in the EHC plan. Study programmes tailored to the individual are developed to include artistic activities, movement, crafts and practical activities including cooking and baking. Students also have individual sessions with specialist staff in additional areas including Maths, English, IT, SLT and therapeutic support. Work experience opportunities are offered to develop work skills in preparation for supported employment. Accredited learning opportunities are currently offered via Pearson Skilled for Life units and EdExcel qualifications in English, Maths and IT.
