Economic issues affect the lives of everyone. This course is an intense and rigorous study of Micro-Economic and Macro-Economic models to understand the basic principle of market forces, market failure and the fundamentals of solutions to these problems. It will you give a greater insight into topics such as inflation, unemployment, the balance of payments, stock markets and government intervention in the economy through taxation and interest rates and is a rewarding and challenging experience for students. The course will be excellent preparation for those students intending to pursue Business Studies at degree level. The skills learnt will be useful for a wide range of occupations and further study.
