Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Certificate (3 Unit), Sub-Diploma (6 unit), 90 Credit Diploma (9 Unit), Diploma (12 Unit), Extended Diploma’s (18 Unit) in IT will develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding of ICT functions, environments and operations. You will carry out a range of tasks that have been designed to recognise your achievements in a modern, practical way that is relevant to the workplace. These qualifications specifically aim to : •Develop your knowledge and understanding of the ICT sector and the chosen specialist pathway if selected. •Develop your skills, knowledge and understanding in contexts that are directly relevant to employment situations, thereby enhancing their employability within the ICT sector. •Develop your ability to work autonomously and effectively in a ICT context. •Enable you to develop knowledge and understanding in specialist areas of ICT, and demonstrate the skills needed to participate in the operation and development of real ICT organisations. Coursework Component: 100%. All units are centre assessed and externally moderated by Edexcel. There are no timetabled exams for this qualification.
