M08C44A: To introduce the principles and practice of Tai Chi using the Cheng Man Ching style Tai Chi form. This course is designed for those looking to improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle through physical activity or health awareness. It is for both complete beginners and those with some experience. This type of exercise is ideal for participants of all ages. It is also suitable for those with an existing disability and/or in rehabilitation.

Name: TAI CHI - CHENG MAN CHING - BEGINNERS Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision, Sport, Leisure and Recreation Qualification type: Assessment You will be asked to complete an Individual Learning Record (ILR) at the beginning of the course/workshop. The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
