M06C06D: Learners will be able to demonstrate their ability to use the advanced features of word processing applications to enhance their work, improve productivity and save time. This course is designed to build on the skills learned in the Essential Word course. It is, therefore, necessary that students already have a strong working knowledge of the Windows environment and Microsoft Word.

The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
