Are you an avid reader? Do you love being lost in a range of ideas, characters and themes? Do you think about what possibly influenced writers and how readers approach a text? Have you enjoyed your GCSE Literature course? If so then the A Level in English Literature will allow you to read and study a wide range of texts from the middle ages to contemporary writers. Students will study prose, poems and plays. In each year students will take an external exam and produce two pieces of analytical coursework.
