If you are seeking a career working with babies and children, this course will give you the basic knowledge and understanding of childcare and education in the early years sector. You will learn the importance of theory and practice in caring for and educating children from birth to 8 years. This will be achieved using a variety of methods, such as presentations, group tasks, case studies and practical sessions to support your learning. Alongside this qualification you will study english and maths up to GCSE grade C, achieve an Employability Skills Passport Certificate and undertake work experience.
