There are four main themes to be covered during the course:My WorldHoliday Time & TravelWork & LifestyleThe Young Person in SocietyDuring the study of these themes:You will build upon the skills which you already have; that is listening, speaking, reading and writing - using a range of topics and extending your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.You will learn to use language to communicate in real-life situations that you might come across in Spanish-speaking countries.You will have the chance to become more confident and able to communicate in the language by using it to express what you want to say. You can use the excellent facilities; the language laboratory, CD ROMs, the Internet and satellite TV.You will have the chance to do more reading in the language e.g. magazines, cartoons, short stories, as well as developing your dictionary skills.You will become more aware of Europe and the life and customs in other Spanish-speaking countries
