The GCE in Applied ICT is one of a family of vocationally-focused GCEs. It is ideal if you do not want to take a purely academic-style GCE. You get the best of both worlds by gaining a respected GCE qualification that encompasses a ’real-world’ vocational approach, making it rather different from many other AS and A2 courses at QES. We look at real applications. You will look outside of school to study ICT in action in the “real world”. You will be taught to dissect real business documents to see how they help companies tick. And you will produce your own practical work of a professional quality to match those of any real business.
