Product Design Advanced Level 3D Product Design provides students with an opportunity to develop design and manufacturing skills in a creative and innovative way. Students will gain specialist knowledge in design, materials, manufacture and marketing with an emphasis on industrial practice and the application of Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacture. Students will be required to manufacture high quality products and prototypes to meet a specific need or consumer group. Due to the length of this process, students will need to be good coursework project managers. It is an exciting course, which will allow students to become aware of the place of design in society and the influences that designers have in our world.
