This two year Level 3 course is focused on outdoor and adventurous activities and is ideally suited to anybody wishing to pursue a career in the outdoor environment or progress to university to study in a similar field. The course will seek to develop your ability to safely participate in outdoor activities whilst learning new skills or furthering your existing skills and knowledge. Not only will you work towards a Level 3 qualification, you will develop important employability skills such as teamwork, leadership, determination and confidence. Due to the number of trips involved, students may be required to work unsupervised and will be expected to catch up on work missed in other subjects. This course, if studied alongside the BTEC Level 3 Public Services Diploma, is very similar to the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services previously offered.
