This course is suitable for a complete beginner or the more advanced florist. You will construct a contemporary door wreath in traditional Christmas colours using a range of dried plant materials and sundries. We will focus on Christmas shades and textures. Information will be provided re principles and elements of design with the focus on colour and texture. This design will be constructed on a wire wreath frame with a straw base. Your day will consist of a staged demonstration by your experienced tutor; you will then create your design with help and guidance as necessary. The lesson will take place in the purpose built floristry department at Rodbaston Campus. This is a fun, relaxed and informal session with the emphasis on having fun whilst learning.
