Media Studies GCSE

UPDATED 20151001 08:33:35

The media forms a large part of our lives, from the TV and films we watch to the music we listen to, and from computer games to the internet. This course explores a range of media products and gives you the opportunity to create your own, such as film posters and short films. Throughout the course you will work individually and in groups in order to understand how a media text has been constructed and who it has been made for. You will then get the opportunity to create the products yourself. You will plan, film and edit a range of media texts and justify your design choices in written tasks.
