The BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Music (2 year course, equating to 1 A level) allows students to experience all areas of Music from composition, soundtrack production, MIDI sequencing and studio engineering to live performance. Students have the opportunity to perform, compose, record, mix and master their own music via this route, and will learn about all aspects of the music industry at the same time. This course will leave students with a show-reel of finished products with which to enter the music industry, and leads well on to any degree courses involving Music or Music Technology.
