This qualification will allow candidates to apply knowledge, understanding and skills to a level recognised by employers, thus proving competency in their job role. This qualification has been designed for department, section and team leaders, specialist sales advisors, owners/managers. This qualification has been specifically desgined for management. Candidates must successfully achieve forty three credits. All forty three credits must be at level 3, of which nine credits will come from the mandatory unit E8. Progression can be made from the level 3 Diploma in Retail Skills (Management) to the Level 3 Diploma in Retail Skills (Visual Merchandiser) or (Sales Professional). If undertaken as an NVQ only (such as through Train to Gain) then the approximate duration is 11 months. If undertaken as part of an apprenticeship the approximate duration is 14 months.
