In this course we will be looking at the character and history of these places to see how an understanding of them will deepen our appreciation and enjoyment of the writer. A pen and notebook This course should be of interest to anyone with an interest in History or Landscape. It may suggest areas for local research or lead to further courses in History or Local History or the History of ideas in general.
