Caring for a Child Certificate Entry Level

This course gives you a general introduction to childcare issues. It covers the English or ESOL and ICT needed for working in childcare and offers the chance to learn childcare skills through units including pregnancy and the responsible parent, caring for young children and play and learning at home. You will also have the opportunity to improve your English and ICT skills. If you take the ESOL option you will have 3 hours of ESOL a week. You will complete a work skills programme that will prepare you for future employment.
