This exploratory year is the perfect choice if you've decided that you want to take your art & design studies further and also to develop your visual thinking,problem solving and creative potential. The course starts with the basic building blocks of drawing,painting and printmaking. You will also explore clay modelling and basic 3D construction techniques. You will then be introduced to the different areas of specialism,which will inform how your own work develops. You will undertake graphics,textiles and 3D design projects as well as a broader introduction to art & design contemporary practice.
