Team Leading is a work based qualification, the candidate will be visited in their workplace to be observed performing duties against the criteria from their chosen units. There are 3 mandatory units to be completed: -Manage own professional development -Develop working relationships with colleagues -Communicate information and knowledge Learners will then choose from a wide range of optional units to gain further credits. The course will be completed by one to one sessions with your Assessor at your work place, using different assessment methods such as; observations, professional discussions, recognised prior learning, questioning, and reflective accounts. There is also an option to complete the Team Leading Level 2 qualification as a fully work based Apprenticeship.Once you have enrolled onto the programme you will be assigned an assessor that will visit you in the workplace regularly. They will complete assessment plans and reviews with you to keep you on target. They will support you in the collection of the required evidence needed for your qualification through different assessment methods such as; professional discussion, observations, written questions, verbal questions, witness statements and any assignments.This qualification will allow learners to progress within employment and onto the Edexcel Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Management.
