COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR COACHING & COUNSELLING AWARD LEVEL 2

Understand and apply the concept of self awareness develop interaction with others develop the ability to explore and gain insight into issues and concerns bring work to a satisfactory closure & evaluate own practice using helping skills.This course is classroom based each session is three hours a week and it runs for thirteen weeks. Additional tutorial time is also available. You will also need to allow time for reading & writing at home.The Units: Unit 01 Develop selfawareness for the helping relationship. Unit 02: develop listening & communication skills for helping relationships. Unit 03: managing the helping relationship.Entry requirements: There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements. Access to this qualification is open to all candidates however a good standard of written English is essential. A basic level of numeracy and the ability to use a computer is also desirable. Tutor Interview either in person or by telephone.
