Beginners or for those who would like a refresher. You will learn how to get the best out of your sewing machine, beginning with identifying all of the parts and how they work, to mastering the techniques required to create many different stitches and processes which ultimately lead to creating a unique i of clothing or soft furnishing.

You will need to bring small samples of fabric to practice on (any unwanted garment, preferably cotton will do) Thread and sewing notions e.g. zips, buttons etc. Pins and a tape measure would be useful.
