You will make studies in the landscape to develop your skills. We will look at papers, pigments, colour mixing, exploring the techniques of watercolour e.g. washes, bleeding, drying times, wet on wet, opaque colour, graduated fades snd water to pigment ratios as well as composition. We will will work both outside in the gardens and in the classroom in the newly opened Jessie Mylne Education Centre in the old Victorian stable building in the grounds of Fulham Palace.
