The AS level course in Art and Design is a course of specialised study. The expression of ideas in visual terms is fully explored through the development of skills and techniques in all aspects of art, craft and design. These include 3D, printing, photography, collage, textiles, drawing, painting, graphics, mixed media, computer graphics (Adobe Photoshop) and Flash animation. The emphasis is on personal preference and experimentation. The art department at BRGS has a motivational, energetic and friendly atmosphere where individual development and progress is promoted and achieved through interesting and challenging briefs.
