A basic knowledge of sewing is an advantage to gain full benefit from this course. You will be taught through a mix of individual help from the tutor and group demonstrations which include putting in a zip, pockets, collars, pleats etc. You will need your own project to work on, so that you can work at your own pace. Materials and patterns are not included in the course fee. For those new to the course, please contact the tutor before the start of the course so she can advise on choice of cloth and pattern for garments. Practical help is given in cutting out and making of garment.
