It include the roles played by workers - from principles and values through to health and safety and working with others. This course is suitable for applicants between the ages of 16 - 18 years old who wold like to do their first course in the field of Health and/or Social care with Adults or Children and Young People. It is designed to stimulate interest and encourage the learner's understanding of the skills and knowledge needed to decide whether a career in the sector is right for them. You will study Human Growth and Development, Healthy Eating and Lifestyles. The course will also cover Service Provision and Roles, Principles and Values, Safeguarding and Communication, Equality and Inclusion, Health and Safety.
