This advanced apprenticeship will focus on developing the skills you have learned during your Level 2 training and introduce you to more specialised carpentry techniques. During the practical session in College, apprentices will have access to well equipped workshops.

Name: Apprenticeship in Carpentry - Advanced Qualification title: NVQ Diploma in Wood Occupations (Construction) (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment You will be continually assessed throughout your training. Most of the assessment will take place in the workplace, plus you will take some external tests/examinations for functional skills (if required). Your progress will be reviewed regularly and achievable targets set to ensure you complete your Apprenticeship on time. You will be expected to build portfolios of evidence and you will need to show good compliance to Health and Safety practices throughout the course.
