Meditation and Mindfulness - introduction

UPDATED 20150812 11:06:36

Meditation can be a route into a greater sense of contentment and enjoyment of life. It is great for de-stressing and reducing the frenetic pace of modern life. There are many different ways to meditate using different sensory modalities; sound, smell, chanting, silent etc. If you are new to meditation or are interested in exploring other ways of meditating then this short course could just fit the bill. You will try out different methods of meditation in order to develop a deeper sense of relaxation and inner calm and discover what techniques will work best for you. Please wear loose and comfortable clothing and soft and flexible footwear. Bring along a cushion or thick towel. There are coffee and tea making facilities on the premises which are also situated near local shops and cafes but we do recommend that people bring along bottled water and a packed lunch.
