Computing - Get to know your Laptop

You will be introduced to the various aspects of laptop computers and their similarities and differences to desktop PC's. Advice will be given regarding maintaining your laptop and keeping it healthy. You will be introduced to the various applications already included at purchase and some which you may want to add to increase its usefulness. You will learn about problems which can occur and how to go about diagnosing and rectifying them before calling in professional help. You will learn the basics of wireless connectivity and how to use your laptop safely on the Internet. Owners or potential owners of a laptop computer who wish to learn about and become more confident in its features, use and care.
