A fun and social workshop for adults with learning disabilities. Join us at the Pitt Rivers Museum for a tour to look at a variety of interesting objects made from leather and hide, including the new leatherwork case. You will get to handle different objects made of different types of leather, medieval style shoes and materials related to traditional types of leather stitching. You will be able to design and make your own leather pouch to take home, with expert help from leather expert Rachel Hopkins. This workshop is free but as a gesture of appreciation we invite everyone to make a GBP2 donation to the Museum. It is not possible to enrol on-line for this workshop. For further information and to enrol please call the ALD Team on 01865 791037.
