E103 - This course is designed for learners who have an interest in Travel & Tourism but have little or no experience. The aim is to provide you with an understanding of the basic principles of the Travel & Tourism industry and allows them to explore the variety of amazing career opportunities. What you will be doing: During the course you will explore the UK Travel & Tourism Industries, looking at the organisations invloved, who they are and what they do. You will also learn Customer Service skills to use in your new career and along with Worldwide Geography knowledge. You will learn how to plan itineraries and take part in visits, find out how to help your future customers make the most of their travel plans and look at what they need before, during and after their trips. Explore how holidays are put togther as well as how they are sold and delve into the life of an overseas holiday representative. You will discover a whole range of career opportunities within the Travel and Tourism Industry you never knew exsisted! Students may progress onto level 2 courses in dedicated Aviation, Cabin Crew or Travel and Tourism pathways. You will improve your chances of gaining employment in the travel and tourism industry with travel agencies, tour operators, at visitor attractions and overseas work such as resort representatives whilst improving your communication and vocational skills.
