Upholstery, Loose Covers & Soft Furnishings

A workshop for anybody interested in sewing skills for soft furnishings for the home, or to learn how to upholster a piece of furniture, traditional or modern. Learn how to make a loose cover under expert tutor guidance. A one day workshop for students to work on their own project, for anyone interested in sewing skills, soft furnishings for the home, and those who would like to re-cover a piece of furniture, under expert guidance from the tutor. To teach people to sew or improve their skills and students will learn how to upholster in modern or traditional style furniture or make a loose cover to a high standard.We also have a series of Friday Upholstery workshops if students wish to attend one or more to in order to complete their projects. You may like to find a piece of furniture to re-cover, or work on a piece of soft furnishing for your home. You may discuss your item with the tutor in advance if you wish, to seek guidance about what you may need to bring on the day.
