Sewing Techniques

Learners will use a Sewing Machine to improve their neatness in sewing the garments. They will also complete a variety of different sewing techniques. Learners will be encouraged to produce initial designs of a finished product and will work on this throughout the duration of the course, whilst at the same time producing samples of their work to demonstrate knowledge of different sewing techniques, for example the invisable hand stitches on hems and necklines.
