This course is ideal for students who have completed a Level 2 or introduction to counselling skills. This qualification can be used as a progression route towards the full counselling qualification. It provides students with a more in-depth knowledge of the use of counselling skills and helps them to develop use of counselling skills, to consider and investigate the underpinning theories and also undergo personal development. The qualification is made up of five units: Development of counselling skills Investigation of theoretical approaches Working ethically Appreciating diversity Personal development All units must be completed in order to achieve this award. Grades are not awarded.
